ABSTRACT
Objective: Skeletal And Dental Effect Of Modified Tandem Appliance In Maxillary Protraction Of Cleft Lip And Palate Patients Using Cone Beam Computerized Tomography.

Materials and Methods: The Material Consisted Of Pre-treatment And Post-treatment CBCT Of 10 Growing Children With Cleft Palate And Lip Patients With Retruded Maxilla Ranging In Age From 6 To 11 Years. Modified Tandem Appliance Is An Intraoral Appliance Which Has Been Used Successfully For The Treatment Of Growing Class III Patients. Pre-treatment And Post-treatment CBCT Analyzed By On Demand 3D App Software Was Utilized For Linear And Angular Measurement.

Results: Significant Improvement In Dental And Skeletal Relations. Conclusion: The Modified Tandem Appliance Was Effective In Management Of Skeletal Class III Malocclusions Via Skeletal And Dental Effects.
